All Sales Final.

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued unless an event described in the TOS occurs. 

Live Arrival and Health Guarantee

The following conditions must be met in order for live arrival guarantee:

-Live reptile shipping has a flat rate of $70, and multiple reptiles can be in one shipment to save on shipping costs. Temperatures must be in a safe range for us to ship. We do not ship if temperatures are lower than 40 or greater than 80 degrees Fahrenheit at any given point during shipping. It is our discretion to ship animals out depending on the weather and temperatures. We only use FedEx for shipping live geckos, and only allow FedEx hub pickup currently. We do not allow geckos to be shipped to a house, for there are many issues that could arise in that scenario. We keep the gecko's safety and health a top priority when shipping, so we want to factor in every possibility that could happen. We provide either cryopaks, cold packs, or heat packs at no extra cost to you. We do not ship during the middle of summer, nor during the winter months, but we can do summer and winter holds at no extra cost. We can ship isopods and other product with USPS Priority Mail available on our website. We only ship isopods and geckos out on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the exception for holidays.

-You must send a picture of the gecko as soon as it is picked up within 1 hour from the FedEx hub to verify that they are in good condition and are doing well. We offer 7 day Health Guarantee for all geckos. The 7 day Health Guarantee is only valid if you have contacted us after picking them up from the FedEx hub with proof that they are in good condition. Any issues must be mentioned within 3 days of pick up, otherwise Live Arrival Guarantee is voided. All geckos that are shipped, or picked up from a show, come with a care sheet to ensure that they get the best care possible. If geckos are not cared for according to the care sheet, the Health Guarantee is also voided. If you pick up any products, isopods, or geckos from a show in person, it is assumed you looked at what you were buying prior to purchase.

-If your animal is DOA (dead on arrival), we must be notified IMMEDIATELY! Although this is a very rare occurrence in the industry, it can still happen. If this does happen, you need to send photos within 1 hour of pick up and provide multiple angles of the gecko to insure that it is our gecko that we sold to you.  Once our investigation is complete, compensation will be issued in the form of either a comparable replacement animal, or store credit. Cash refunds will not be given under any circumstances. There is no expiration of this credit. 

-We are not responsible for carrier delays or loss of package. We will do our best to work out something in this situation but a refund will not be possible. 

-All geckos should be kept in quarantine for 2 weeks minimum. Please keep your new gecko away from the rest of your collection for the 2 weeks, and also avoid handling for this time period to allow them to settle in to their new environment. If the 2 week quarantine period was not completed, the 7 day Health Guarantee is also voided. 

Local Pick Up

We can arrange local pick up in the Somonauk IL area, just please contact us to set up a date and time for it. 

Tail Loss

We do not offer a guarantee on gecko tails if they are dropped. It is a completely normal process for crested geckos to drop their tails at any given time. It does not devalue the gecko in any way, nor does it affect their health. We will not offer any credit or refund in the scenario this happens. 

Sexing

Any animals listed or our website or sold in person that are marked as a specific sex are guaranteed to be that sex. We do not offer pore sexing, for it to be inaccurate at times. We only determine the sex of our geckos once they reach a certain age where they start showing signs of being a certain gender. If for any reason you receive an animal that is marked as a certain gender and they turn out to not be that gender specified, a credit will be given towards another gecko once the original gecko is returned. We will cover the cost of shipping the reptile back to us. 

Color

We do strive to have accurate colors show in our ads. However each phone and computer can show those colors differently. We do not offer refunds or credits based on color difference. 

Payment Plans

We offer payment plans on geckos over $400.

-A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the gecko. This deposit goes toward your total of the gecko.

-Full Payment must be made within 30 days, unless specified otherwise.

-If the agreed upon plan is not followed through with, we will send out an email or message asking for the plan to be followed.  If no response or the situation is not resolved within a 30 day time frame of the request for resolution, the gecko will be resold, your deposit of 25% will be forfeited and your remaining payments made if any, will be held for one year as a store credit. After that one year if no animal is purchased that credit is forfeited. 

-Coupons are not offered in payment plans.

Abandoned Orders

We ask that all orders be scheduled for shipment within 45 days after the purchase is complete, or scheduled for season holding when shipping is not permitted. Any geckos that have been in our care 6 months or more with us without a shipment being scheduled will be considered abandoned. These geckos will be repossessed by Illinois Valley Geckos, and NO REFUNDS (neither cash or store credit) will be given. Exceptions will be made for extreme weather circumstances if shipping cannot be accomplished, however if no contact is made to us from the buyer after 6 months all geckos and payments will be forfeited. 

Dry Goods and Custom Orders

Dry goods have a 30 day window for returns. All sales final on custom painted orders. Customer pays the cost of shipping on dry good returns.
